Cycle time

Fanuc ≈ 5.3 min
Siemens ≈ 5.1 min

Most of it is the 3D pocket finishing.

Same part, same tools, two controls.

Three holes, one wall

Zero is on the stock

Facing goes down to Z-6.5: the finished part starts there.

Every dimension on the part is “-6.5 plus something”. Set Z on the stock face, not the finished one.

Spindle or C axis?

Turning: the part spins (M34, P11 / SETMS(1)).

Drilling/milling: the part is held at an angle and the tool spins (M35, P12 / SETMS(2)).
